Marble nail tutorial :)

Hehe it's me again. I just finished my nails so I'll share it with you. Here's what it looks like :) Right hand Left hand Thumb What you need: 3~4 different shades of manicures of ur choice base coat, top coat, nailfile, a paper cup, water!!, tooth pick, q tip, nail remover

As always, start off by shaping your nails and putting a thin layer of base coat.

Put some water in a paper cup and open the lids of the manicures that you're gonna use. I think it's much easier to show you than to explain,, so here's a video.
video
So basically you just drop some polishes on the water and with a toothpick or anything sharp, make patterns. You can tell i'm kind of sucking right here..lol
So you now know why I said open the lids of manicures you're gonna use right?
you have to be quick.
So when you're done, here's what it looks like. lol
Gettin rid of those polish on your skin is such a tedious job.
I hate that part. urghhhh. just dip your q tip in to the nail remover
and clean it ok?

To finish off, I put some sparkly nail polish and top coat. :)

hope you try this out!
it's really fun to create those patterns with different colors.
they are so pretty!!!

c ya :)

A friend of mine who is a beauty thearapist suggested that having a shower or bath makes it easier to scrap off nail polish on the skin. A suggestion that may speeden up the process after marbleing your nails.

Oh wow. I actually tried this a year ago, I remembered we use to mix ink at school to make pretty book covers and i wanted to test it with nail polish.
I had the problem of the nail polish dissolving into the water and then forming that layer on the water. Only made one nail pretty :(
Now from you video i can see you're suppose to keep adding more polish :O
I will definately attempt this again since i now know it actually works :D You have amazing nail tutorials.

I experimented with this a little and discovered a REALLY easy way to keep your fingers polish free. If you put petroleum jelly (vaseline) on your fingers, it makes cleanup super easy. The polish just wipes right off the skin. I used a paintbrush to apply it so my nails stayed clean.
