My Skin Care Products

Hello ladies :)

I want to show you skin products that I use and love.

Shu Uemura oil is really nice. It takes off everything from dust and dirt on your skin to water proof mascara. I don't have to use a separate eye makeup remover because this one does the work. However, I am not sure if I want to repurchase this just because of the price. I've used many cheaper cleansing oil that works just as well, for example, Biore and Tiss(both japaneses). I don't know what it's doing to my skin, it's probably better than Biore and Tiss but it definitely does not make that much of a difference in my opinion.

After I take off my makeup with Shu Uemura oil, I wash my face with Shiseido perfect whip foam cleanser. The MA at Shu counter told me I don't need to double wash my face after using Shu oil but I still do because I have oily skin and I just prefer washing my face after using the oil (not that Shu oil leaves oiliness). Perfect whip is really cheap in Japan so I bought about 10 back ups when I went to visit my family in Japan. It's an ok product. Nothing too special but it does not irritate my skin and it's not too drying and it's CHEAP lol.


This is Skin Food black sugar mask which I love. I exfoliate my skin once a week with this mask and it really makes a difference. You take a small amount of the product, massage on your face, wait for 5~10 min and then wash it off. I'm always surprised how smoothe and clean it makes my skin feel. It smells really nice too, like black sugar or honey. But I do not recommend this if you have a sensitive skin. The scrub is pretty big and it could irritate your skin.

Biotherm toner is another ok product. It's more gentle than clinique toner which I think is too strong.

I can not say enough good things about these products. I mean, if you haven't tried it you definitely should. It's the best skin product I've ever used in my entire life. It's so good. This products were recommended to me by a dermatologist about 3 years ago when my skin was breaking out really bad. I never stopped using it ever since. When your face is covered with white head and you know those little pimples, use Effaclar K and it'll be gone in a while like a miracle. Effaclar line is designed for oily skin so it's not oily at all. It feels so fresh and clean.
Toleriane Riche is a soothing protective cream(it says on the tube). I use this as a moisturizer. Again, amazing product. It makes a big big difference. I apply this only at night and when I wake up, the foundation application is sooo much better compared to when I do not put anything on. I will never live without these two products and I highly recommend it to everyone!


I use Shu Uemura deep sea water with my Toleriane moisturizer. I place the moisturizer on my cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin then spray deep sea water on top. Before it dries I apply the moisturizer all over my face and it's even better than using the moisturizer alone. Hehe. I'm almost done with this as you can see..I'm planning to buy the bigger bottle.
