Product Review: Etude House Lucidarling Fantastic 3 Eyes

Hola ladies!

Etude House just recently came out with a new collection called "Lucidarling".
Among all new products, these cream eyeshadows/eye liners really caught my attention so I went ahead and got all 3 shades available.

I've used them a couple times and am ready to do a review on them :)

#1 Vivid Lucid Purple

#2 10 Million Pixel Pink

#3 Neon Fresh

What They Are: These are cream eyeliners that can also be used as cream eyeshadows. Each pot is divided into 3 parts and contains 3 different colors. (2 mattes and 1 shimmery) Each pot comes with a small brush.

The Brush..

Price: 10000KRW each. (abt 9~10USD)

Swatches::

Pros:
3 colors in one! How amazing is that?
Very affordable.
Very creamy and well pigmented. You can get very intense color pay off.
They don't smudge and stay put all day!
The Champagne color in 10 Million Pixel is almost an exact dupe of Stila Smudge Pot in Kitten!
Needless to say, they can make your eyeshadows pop when used as a base.
Lastly, you can actually mix these colors. (I'll show you the demonstration at the end)

Cons:
When you apply it, it tends to get on your lashes and it's not pretty. Trust me, you don't wanna have yellow or green lashes. lol
Some of the colors could be difficult to wear on a daily basis as they are very bright and unusual. (I hope they come out with a set of neutral shades.)

How You Can Mix Them:
There is really not a special method for mixing them. You just take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and apply. That's it! lol
In the picture, the result of mixing is on the far left.

Pink+Purple=Lilac!!

Green+Shimmery Gold=Shimmery Lime Green!

Pink+Yellow=Orange! (Doesn't it look familiar? lol When you mix the pink and yellow in 10million Pixel Pink, the result is almost exactly the same as the orange in Neon Fresh. So no need to buy both if you just want the orange from Neon Fresh.)

All in all, this is a really cool product and a fun one too to play with. So definitely check them out :)

xoxo

Do they come in neutral colors as well? If they got one with black and brown inside the pot I definitely will get it! Lol.

I have wanted to try this ever since I saw it on Gmarket!! Would you say the formula is more similar to something like MUFE Color Flash or it is more like a cream eyeshadow from MAC?

@Vanilla, Iris!
Yes. I will do a look using these soon. :)

@Fifi
I hope they had neatral colors but they don't. :(

@BV
I haven't tried the MUFE flash color so it's hard to say. But they're definitely NOT like MAC paint pots. They're much creamier, closer to consistency of MAC fluid line!

@Coffretgorge, Diana, Acutelife
Thanks huns!!

Hi, just stumbled upon your blog.

The Lucidarlings are really such darlings. They are so cute, and the colors are my kind of colors too. By now, I think they should be in our local Etude House outlets. Will definitely check it out.

Nice blog you've got. :)
